[ (fire > television) > nothing ]

Can't wait till the year is over and I can get rid of my blue tie. Oh I love everything I get to do, my year 8's are awesome and I have no problem going to open days and stuff, but it's a target, and I get singled out whenever I do something "wrong" which normal students even wouldn't get a second glance about. That and the teachers get a power trip when they see prefects doing something wrong, and they get all high and mighty and slap you in the face with their words. When the end of the year comes I think it's my duty to rip my tie off and light a small uncontrollable fire in the middle of H block, before promptly picking up a year 8 child and throwing them through a window while screaming something about pine trees.
On another note I just blew some money on surround sound for my room and it's fucking awesome (I often have to stop myself from making sweet love to the subwoofer), HOWEVER, the whole point of it was to be able to play audio from my Xbox (dvd audio, game audio, music audio) and I can only get audio from the TV, so i'm confused as to why the xbox sound isn't doing it's thing. If any of you lads think you could help me out I'd be forever in your debt and would have to restrain myself from hugging and kissing you, so I'd probably shout you some drinks or lunch or movies or whatever instead. Until then I'll just have to be content with listening to *shudder* video hits and all that other crazy teen music..
Finallllly saw Team America and Meet The Fockers last night. Top shelf. Meet the fockers was alright, but team america had myself, mum, and dad in hysterics. Puppets are a dying form of entertainment. *sound of backstreet boy's new song in background* urghh... *hurls phone at video hits* *phone shatters and video hits gives a hearty laugh and increases in volume* *Sam's ears start bleeding*
Love and hug for all, Sam.C

Blimey! A mom who can apprecitate the porn sequence of TEAM AMERICA and help out with surround sound for XBX games... Is your mom the Super Mom or something? A new, alternative, discrit super-hero, whose super powers are disguised behind the house chores and preaching her son about the importance of the blue-tie [or is it bluetooth?] :-)

I am glad you saw those movies. They're both ours...

Just in case you were joking about your mom, I asked a friend who's familiar with amplifiers and xbox connections, so... there you go:

First of all have you connected the xbox with your amplifier? (OK I know this sounds stupid but sometimes your mind is stuck in the most simple things)

If yes, make sure that the corresponding poles (negative / positive) are connected properly

You can also check that you choose the right input in your amplifier (you know when you have to choose dvd, cd, decoder etc.)

If the connections are OK I can't find any reason why you have sound only from TV. However, I do not think that xbox can produce surround sound. I think you can only have a 2channel or 7 channel stereo sound, but maybe your amplifier has a simulation of surround (it should be called pro logic or something like that and then you should have the option to choose music, movies, live, games etc.)

Best of luck!!!!
