Title 17#

There's a place where the strange ones go where nobody here would know. They look down from the underground at everyone down below.
There's one thing that I love doing and I haven't done it in ages, but I love hopping on my bike and just riding through all the back alleyways and all the places you never knew existed, and some of these places can never be accessed by cars too. I usually tend to head off in the direction of Kalinga (not sure on correct spelling) park, and there's sooo many really nice spots where you can sit down and just watch everything live, and then I sometimes like to go and visit the little concrete oval where they used to race those model cars that ran on petrol and squealed their way around and around while tethered to a wire cable, trying to break new speed records. Another good track I found was past the little scouts den I never knew existed at Kalinga park which then leads onto these beautiful homes which appear to have captured Amazonian rainforests inside their fences, and then they lead onto these little sidestreets which take you past little shops hidden away and only visited by the minority that presently knew about them, and then you realise you've arrived at a trainstation and then panic because you're not quite sure how you got there. But there's very few scenarios where you get this much satisfaction out of finding places you never knew were in your area, such as the little forgotten (mini) bush track, which is on the outside of one of the shaw sports cricket fields. I dunno why I'm talking about this sort of stuff, and if you're reading this which you obviously are, then I'm not too sure why you're still here and why you haven't given up and proceeded onto somewhere more colourful, but I guess it's just interesting because most of us live in crowded environments, and it's nice to know that there are still little pockets of land left out there that we can visit when we're out of the house.
